HVFX Electrify The New Ford Focus
Loughborough, Great Britain

 Ford chose HVFX to bring an electrifying start to the trade launch of the new Ford Focus. We worked with the event producers, Racingline and Latitude 51, to implement a spectacular lightning strike to one of the prototype vehicles at the start of the trade launch event. Over 2 weeks at Ford's UK sales training centre, Henry Ford College, more than 2000 delegates were awed by the sight of the new model surrounded by real lightning bolts.
Mike Kiy, director of Latitude 51 commented "It was a strong effect that added greatly to the impact of the launch.". Nicholas Field, managing director of HVFX Ltd., explained "This was a textbook project for us; The show lent itself to an effect of this kind, and we worked with Mike and his team to implement alongside the other show elements."
